THE BUDGET CONVERSATION
You’re buying engineering anyway. Before adding another vendor, check whether that same spend can pull double duty.

No guessed eligibility, price or shortfall payment.
USD, rounded to dollars. Cash in this period, not lifetime ROI. Common AWS charges cancel out. Future-use balances, taxes, financing, changed cloud usage and new AWS discounts are not valued here.
Talk through my actual agreementThe TeamStation capacity planner is embedded above, with the same role, level, delivery market and seat inputs as /pricing/capacity-planner. It sums the current monthly price for every selected engineering seat, then carries that plan total into this AWS comparison. All role lines must use the same duration for this single-period comparison. Inputs stay in this browser tab; no private quote is retrieved. The private offer sets the final commercial terms.
For one agreement period: team cost = monthly team price × months. Monthly team price = the sum of seat count × current monthly seat price for every selected role and level. TeamStation contribution = the smaller of eligible team charges or the remaining allowance. Each projected gap = the commitment minus other qualifying spending minus that option’s engineering contribution, floored at zero.
Modeled cash difference = alternative engineering cost − TeamStation engineering cost − extra costs + the difference between the two cash shortfall payments. A negotiated TeamStation discount belongs inside its service price, not in a second savings line.
This quick model assumes constant monthly charges are billed, paid and recognized within the selected period. Reconcile upfront, milestone, delayed or cross-period charges separately. It is not an AWS bill forecast, a contract interpretation, a staffing optimizer or a delivery guarantee. Keep shared AWS usage and pricing the same in both scenarios. Review any future-use balance separately before claiming lifetime savings.
Missing pricing inputs, unknown eligibility or unknown settlement keep the combined result uncalculated. A confirmation box records your statement; it does not connect to AWS or verify an agreement. Zero, a loss and a missing value remain different results.

Put the product roadmap and AWS buying plan in the same conversation. TeamStation supplies senior LATAM engineers and the managed operating system around their work. Buy scoped services through AWS Marketplace. Where AWS confirms eligibility, that necessary engineering spend can also contribute toward your PPA or EDP. Delivery cost and commitment value are separate calculations.
Look for “TeamStation AI - Nearshore Engineering Services for AWS.” Open the listing and choose “Request private offer.” We agree the work, team, price and terms before you accept. Send that same listing link to procurement so everyone reviews the right service. Marketplace availability does not, by itself, establish PPA eligibility.
Eligible Marketplace purchases can count toward AWS commitments. TeamStation is listed as professional services, so confirm this exact offer with your AWS account team. Agree the eligible amount, remaining allowance and recognition period. The calculator leaves eligibility unconfirmed until you supply those terms; a calculated team price does not establish that your purchase qualifies.
No. Negotiate TeamStation’s service price in the private offer. Review AWS discounts in your AWS agreement. Put the engineering forecast into renewal planning, but count any new AWS discount only after it is agreed. A service discount, commitment drawdown and an AWS rate discount are three different things. Don’t count the same benefit twice.
Start before renewal when practical. Bring the engineering work you actually expect to buy into the AWS spending forecast before agreeing to the next commitment. For an existing agreement, check the projected gap, offer eligibility, remaining allowance and deadline. More committed spend is not the goal. A better total deal and useful product delivery are.
Use the TeamStation capacity planner to choose a role, level and seat count. It sums the monthly price for every selected engineering seat and calculates the agreement-period total. The AWS comparison uses that same plan. The private offer sets the final price.
Suppose you need the team and would otherwise owe a cash PPA shortfall payment. An eligible Marketplace purchase can reduce that payment while buying the work. Compare against the same necessary engineering purchase made another way. Include any commitment contribution the alternative already has. A smaller gap is not a refund, and period cash benefit is not lifetime ROI.
Choose the role, level and number of engineering seats. The capacity planner sums their monthly prices, then multiplies the team total by the agreement months. Only charges recognized within that period can contribute, subject to confirmed AWS eligibility and allowance. A modeled gap reduction is not automatically a cash saving.
Only the amount recognized within the agreement period can contribute, subject to the offer’s eligible share and applicable allowance. Use the monthly team cost from the TeamStation pricing model and the number of qualifying billing months. The modeled contribution cannot exceed the remaining confirmed allowance. Use your actual billing and recognition dates.
Skip the rate-card tunnel vision. Compare the same work, seniority and delivery coverage, including recruiting effort, employment, devices, onboarding and oversight. DEOS connects those operating responsibilities. Count only the costs the agreed scope actually replaces, then include retained work and transition. A lower headline rate alone does not prove a saving.
Name the human owners of scope, architecture, implementation, evaluation, security, release and operations. Give agents bounded tasks, approved context and checks. TeamStation shapes the engineering plan around those responsibilities rather than one generic squad. You retain product priorities and production-access approval. The engagement sets the actual team, operating scope and delivery evidence.
Axiom Cortex uses technical interview evidence to support human review of engineering reasoning and role fit. Look at how someone breaks down a problem, explains a tradeoff and spots a risk. Nebula adds talent intelligence and market context. You review the evidence and choose the engineer. No resume roulette and no automatic hiring decision.
The agreed service plan connects talent selection, employment and payroll support, devices and MDM, onboarding, continuity and delivery oversight. Confirm the inclusions, insurance arrangements, working hours and responsibilities in the offer. You get a managed operation around the people, while your team keeps its product and production authority.
Customer AWS infrastructure charges are separate from engineering services in the published listing. Confirm model usage, software licenses and any other project-specific costs in the private offer. Budget the team and the application’s cloud consumption separately. A team estimate is not an AWS bill forecast.
Start with the missing responsibility: cloud, platform, DevOps, SRE, DevSecOps, QA, data or product engineering. For AI workloads, inspect AI platform, agentic systems, LLM, context, MLOps and governance roles. The linked guides help define the team; the workload decides which roles you need. Don’t add seats just to hit a spending target.
Our working research treats people, bounded agents, knowledge, execution controls, telemetry and governed learning as one capacity system. It asks where work is stuck and what should change before adding more headcount. That informs the team conversation. Specific production capabilities and delivery commitments still need their own evidence in the engagement.
Bring one AWS workload, the delivery blocker, your rough team budget and the PPA renewal or recognition deadline. We’ll map the responsibilities, compare the full cost and check the Marketplace buying path with the right owners. No need to upload your PPA or credentials to a public form. No fit? We’ll say so.
